Hahaha! the baseball gods have a great sense of humor
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Good for him. The dude has to feel awesome. Now win the game.

Great job by the other hitters to keep the game alive with two outs. I wonder if the they pitched around gamel there

Woodruff needs to settle down now and give us three more innings. You have to win a game where Saladino hits a grand slam. How crazy is that

The Saladino grand slam is right up there with the Schoop grand slam HR against Bumgarner as far as perfect timing for a struggling hitter.
Not just “at Night” anymore.

Losing Woodruff for any length of time during this part of the season would be pretty discouraging.

I was thinking of the schoop homer as well. Hopefully Salad can build more on his than Schoop did
