Ryan Braun Forever!!!
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Jeffress in coming in. Time for our embedded spy to pay back. ;)

Excellent! He even gives us the win in such a fashion to not make it obvious. He can do it a few more times before the Cubs figure it out.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Cards lose as well, so only a game back there now too!

Sort of speaks to how fluid this situation is when you can go from 4 games under .500 to just one game out of a top 6 playoff spot in a couple of days.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

The reason the Brewers won is simple. We were willing to pitch our elite arms in a tie game and the Cubs did not. We used our closer in the 9th, Cubs didn’t, and it backfired on them. Maybe it doesn’t end any different if they start the 9th with Jeffress, but clearly not doing so ended badly.

I was initially hoping the Brewers could take 2 of 3 this weekend. Now splitting the next two sounds a lot more realistic. With all these games left against divisional opponents, this team 100% controls it's own destiny.

19 runs in the last game means they're going to struggle to score at all tonight

bumping this for accuracy.

I was partially kidding but it's not really a surprise.

That said there's no such thing as a bad win against the Cubs.

I Really hope Woody and Corbin continue on their upward move and hopefully one of the other 3 can step up. But we need Yelich to step up and carry this team but the one guy i think will be key is Braunie.
