Yelich could use another 5 or 10 lbs of muscle.

Yeah, his physique has really hurt his homerun totals the last few seasons.

His bat looks slow this year compared to previous seasons.

Someone want to tell Lepay that Woodruff is NOT one of the hardest throwers in the majors.

I doubt he is in the top 15.

I'm having trouble finding stats, but I recall seeing stats shown on TV broadcasts that among starting pitchers he's in the top five.

Is there any evidence to support either (a) More muscle = faster bat speed; (2) Yelich's bat speed is slower this year?

What do Cincy fans say about their hitting coach?
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Not sure but I'm betting they like their pitching coach......I know I do.

I like the Brewers pitching coach.

The only off season acquisition that has been worth a damn is Gyorko, and it isn't even close.

Smoak, Narvaez, Sogard, Urias, Lauer, Morrison, etc have all been close to nothingness.

Call-ups of Rasmussen, Taylor, and Nottingham have been better than all of them. Perhaps a lesson there to build a minor league system since that was maxxing out the quantity and quality of what could be generated without casting the net outside.

Pay off pitch, pay off pitch, pay off pitch...

I wonder if Rock ever gets sick of it?

Arcia continues to have a dancing back foot....Why that has never been fixed I'll never know...

That looked almost identical to Yelich's liner in game 7 of the 2018 NLCS. Except in that case Taylor took the correct route and made the catch.
