Bucks office to a fast start, looking good. Extremely early though and this is the NBA.

Office, factory, warehouse....the whole company is pitching in tonight.

This is why you shouldn't try to judge how a series is going to go based on the first game.

Bucks got smoked by the Celts 2 years ago in game 1 and then proceeded to wipe the floor with them for the next four games.

Miami could make adjustments and make this tough, they're a good team, but this is the whole reason the Bucks went and got Forbes and Tucker. If Miami wants to wall off the interior, we have the shooters now to make that strategy hurt.

And the difference between playoff Bledsoe and playoff Jrue is night and day.....wow.

What is the nba playoff record for 3s in a game? I have to imagine it, as we'll as the 29 record we set in the regular season, is in danger tonight.

Wow I did not notice that autocorrect, lol. I'll just call it an intended set-up for your reply. Yeah, that's it.

25 according to this link

Long ways to go at 15. I think we'll probably ease up and finish with 18-20.

Well they did cool down, but now there's 4 or 5 players on the floor who will probably only look to jack 3s, so might get interesting with 4 minutes left.

Hammer down the whole time, never let Miami have any sort of run at all. That's rare in the NBA, and great to see. The more they use pick and roll action with others and let Giannis roam without the ball, the better.

This is - I think - going to be huge.

In one way, it sucks. I really liked Bled, but you could just see in two seasons worth of playoff series that it wasn't just a bad game or two... he kinda shrank in the spotlight.

Jrue, I've watched two playoff games, and he just looks like he's turning his game up a notch. I mean, even if he's just normal Jrue Holliday, that's a huge step up from what we got in the playoffs from Bledsoe.

Bucks defense has been legit the last two games. Miami's not an offensive juggernaut but they look completely lost so far.

I really don't know what to expect when/if a Nets series takes place. We're certainly not the Celtics, but the Nets are a lot better than the Heat.

Expect a lot of points & at least a six game series.

Durant/Harden/Irving is a lot of firepower for anyone to contend with, but the Bucks are much better equipped to at least put up a fight against them than the Nets are to deal with Giannis, who should absolutely feast inside.

Yea, winning on the boards will be a big factor. That was lost in the shuffle of shooting the lights out in game 2. 61-36 rebound advantage! We can't expect that spread vs Brooklyn, or anyone, but if they can handily win the battle on the boards it will really help their cause.

The Nets really only have one problem... you only get to put one basketball in the game at a time. Harden must be all distributor or they will not win it all, I don't know if he has the discipline to do that.

Their other problem is preventing the opposing team from puttng the ball in the basket.

I didn't think that was a thing in the NBA anymore... :tongue

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Looking forward to watching Irving and Harden argue over which player they don't want to guard. Durant can be unselfish, but if Irving or Harden haven't scored much in the first half, I can see either just jacking up bad shots in the second half just to make their numbers. Or at least that's what I'm hoping for. I remember two years ago Irving standing next to a player he didn't want to guard and making a teammate come from across the court to guard him. Sure other Celtic players had to do it, but I doubt Harden will be as open to the idea.

Defense still matters in the playoffs. We should know, the Bucks have been eliminated several times by teams playing good (and smart) defense against them. And the Bucks' defense is the reason this series is 2-0 and not 1-1.

Bucks/Nets comes down to how the stars perform on both ends. Durant/Kyrie/Irving vs. Giannis/Middleton/Jrue. Maybe a game or two is decided by a role player but in a series that will surely go 6-7 games it's going to be the stars in the 4th quarter getting it done.

I like how the announcer says "Bobby Portis has primarily scored his points shooting the three this year". 1.1 three pointers per game, and 11.4 ppg. It's easy to look this stuff up.
