But yeah if he can't figure out how to be more efficient, he's a 5 - 6 inning guy tops. Like others said...nice 4 -5 guy.

That's a good point too. I forget how young he is. Some folks on here were ready to write off Burnes a couple years back.
but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Peralta is more than a 5th starter.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

To me Brett Anderson and Houser are our 4/5 in any order. I don't really characterize the other three in any way other than to say obviously Woodruff and Burnes are the furthest along right now.

Freddy has these guys looking ridiculous trying to hit his stuff right now.

Needed a short inning. Nice job, Freddy

The Freddy Peralta contract could be a great one.

If you're not going to hit him can you at least make him work a little bit so you can get to the bullpen?

Guess not.

Garcia only has a .742 OPS this season? Feels like he's been tagging the ball every game.

Started the season real slow......like almost everyone else.

These pitches aren't anywhere close to the zone. Another short inning. Hardly made him work

I still don't really get the Bradley signing. Most of his value is derived by his ability to play CF. He's not being used there enough to justify that contract. Offensively I wouldn't have expected him to be any better than Taylor.
