Good thing we don’t have to face any of these bottom feeder teams from the AL Central. Man what a nightmare.

It really is crazy. Woodruff looks like Cy Young through 3, labors in the 4th, and now is getting hit hard. Perhaps this should have been a planned piggyback game, as Woody just doesn't have the command today.

3 - 2 curveballs when your fastball is one of the best in the game is a choice there, Woody

Nightmare...down the drain...dud. Holy cow, Woodruff must have give up...THREE runs!

It's weird that fans of a team with what, 36? comeback wins falls into despair so easily.

Woody's playoff rotation spot is very much in question right now.

Only to some fans

Only to nobody.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

He'll be in there in some capacity. I expect generally short outings from all of them with the possible exception of Burnes. But they've got to do whatever they need to do to get the big 3 right before the playoffs. That's definitely the priority in these games

Burnes pitches game one and it’s not even close for me. Freddy and Woodruff in games 2 and 3, order doesn’t matter.

6 pretty good innings for Woody……2 of the runs that scored reached base on a bloop and a bunt.

If the offense shows up it’s fine.

1 run in 17 innings isn’t going to get it done.

At the end of the day, it's a quality start.

When it comes to the playoffs the word "rotation" is just a word to me. I don't think they are going to look at it that way. I think are looking to get 27 outs however they can get it and you may see some things you didn't see in the regular season. Woodruff will be one of the guys in there asked to get outs, that much is for certain, whether it be to start or to relieve

Lauer in the 4th and pitch the 4th thru 7th.

Maybe Adames being out is starting to catch up to the offense? Or maybe they’ve just mailed it in these past two games and just want to get home. Doesn’t help that Yelich seems to be going MIA again.

Woodruff will start……it’s not even a question….now how long he goes who knows…..but I have no doubt that our big 3 will all start games in the post season.

The Tigers just played the Rays in a 3 game series…..they won 2 and scored 20 runs……they can hit……giving up 3 runs in 6 innings is not a bad result……scoring 1 run in 2 games is however.

Come on guys ... I know it wasn't in blue, but the Woodruff rotation spot point was about as sarcastic as you're gonna get.

Very true but brewerfan posters have never been able to detect sarcasm without the blue, just the way it is, not going to change now.

Just like others can’t accept some in game venting for what it is.

My disappointment right now is that my hopes of seeing the Brewers clinch the division at a game we’re attending on Sunday are fading pretty quickly. The next game on the 10 pack is the following Saturday against the Mets. They better have it clinched by then because if they haven’t it will mean that the Cardinals will be riding high in the wild card race.

This might be payback from the baseball gods for laughing at the Indians offensive ineptitude over the weekend.

Do you think the Tigers have had any other consecutive games this year in which they’ve allowed a total of 1 run on 6 hits in 19 innings, including two with a free runner on second to start the inning? The Tigers recent success has been based more on hitting than lockdown pitching, but the Brewers have made them look good these two days.

Obviously shouldn't lose both game and score 1 run. But Det has been a pretty solid team since a April or so bad start of the year. Assuming they have some money to spend, they could all of a sudden be the #2 team in Central next year. Seen talk of them getting the Astros SS due to his connection to the Det manager being the old Astros manager. They must have plenty of money to spend with Cabrera as their only real contract.
