Doesn't 3/60 seem cheap for Chris Godwin?

well you have to consider that he tore his ACL at the end of last season, so there is risk by the bucs that 2022 could be a lost season or one that he performs below norms during.

St. Brown to Chicago. The Getsy connection is going to be strong this offseason, apparently.

Fletcher Cox released by Philly. Seems like a good year for d-line help if they can fit someone in with the cap.

That is crazy....  Is this the first fully guaranteed deal in the NFL?  If it isn't it has to be a long time since the last one was given out.  I wonder if Rodgers is going to get mad now and request a new deal?  <<<<SARCASM no more blue sarcasm font makes me sad.

JuJu to Kansas City (should have posted this here instead of in the Davante Adams thread...)

Damn, I swear i had just seen something about the browns being out of the running for watson? Cousins deal from the vikes was 100% guaranteed.  Also, I was planning on making a joke about Rodgers demanding a new contract as well.

Remember what Yoda said:

They were out of the running as of yesterday afternoon. Then Mayfield demanded a trade and my belief is the Browns upped their offer to get the Watson deal done because they were going to be in a world of hurt without a QB otherwise.

Kind of sickening to know that Watson's contract is scheduled to have a base salary of $1M - that means if he gets suspended, the withheld salary comes from that amount.

What's the over/under on percentage of Watson's signing bonus that goes to Rusty Hardin and settlement for the 22 civil suits brought against him?

Houston gets railed on alot for being a disfunctional organization - but they made out like river bandits in this deal considering the circumstances...

Seems like a crazy amount to give up for a QB with those legal issues attached to him.

There are no legal issues attached to Watson anymore unless you mean possible suspension from the league.  The charges have been dropped I believe or at least dismissed.

he got 22 civil suits against him but yeah nothing criminal

find this interesting. probably why he was ok with Cleveland:
