I haven't noticed it.  There's a slight delay every time I refresh the page for new posts before my cursor is "clickable", but my page doesn't bounce multiple times as each ad loads.

I'm going to write a blog post explaining, in painful detail, why ads need to exist. You can agree or disagree with me about that in as much detail as you want but the reality is what it is.

Right! Get rid of the ads between posts and there will still be a minimum of 2 ads in my face at a time. Sometimes I get up to 5 ads on page at once with 2 posts between them... It can feel like one of those facebook spam sites about 20 random fake facts an intern wrote.

One of my pet peeves from the announcers is when they say the Brewers offense has been inconsistent so far this season when, in fact, it’s been very consistent: consistently weak.

Its inevitable that there is going to be variation in how many runs you score, especially facing different pitchers every day. But it isn’t like they are scoring 12 runs one day and getting shut out the next. They have scored between 0 and 6 runs every game and only reached 10 hits once (the first game in Chicago).

The reality is this site(forums only, i haven't looked at anything else) has by far more ads than any other forum i've ever visited. Ads are fine, we get that, this is .... something else man.
