Oh Neifi say it isn't so. Perez apparetly tested positive for a banned stimulent and is facing a 25 game suspension. This is really going to affect the Tigers "Neifi Index".

Verlander's no-hitter should no longer count since Perez made that awesome play to keep it in tact http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Wow. He was the one player I never thought would use. He was just too bad a hitter to be using. Apparently he needed help to be even that.

One has to wonder if this in one of those something in an over the counter suppliment type things. Not that it's an excuse or anything. At this point anyone whose putting more than vitamins in his body should be banned for sheer stupidity.
There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.

I personally liked the half joking comment from a different website suggesting that someone on the Tigers had intentionally slipped him something.

mlb cathes another star using a banned substance. Next we'll hear him say he did nothing wrong and will appeal his suspention. Later that week he will drop the appeal and apologize to his family and fan.

Let's see if Neifi "dimes" on his cronies. Imagine if he came out and was like, "I only borrowed something from Placido's locker."

I didn't know that they could test for suckage. Must have missed that in the last collective bargaining agreement. Neifi should ask whoever his supplier was for a refund. I hope he held on to the receipt.

It's just too bad this didn't happen while he was still playing for the Cubs.

Since this was a stimulant violation and not a performance enhancer violation, could someone please tell me what is the difference between popping a few "greenies" before a game and having a few Monster's or coffee? More importantly how can you test for that?

Do you get the feeling that there may really be only one fan? http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

He has one son, so if he is married then he would have at least 2 fans.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

I do have to say, he could (and might still?) play a really mean SS. I think I once even thought it wouldn't be a terrible idea for the Yankees to get him to play there. He used to save a lot of runs.
