That was not a strike on Yelich but he likely would have rolled over to the right side for an easy out anyway.

The thing with Houser is he just can't avoid that one bad inning ,  I'll take him all day as a #5 rotation guy.

No it wouldn’t…..nobody is happy about how Yelich is playing right now……including Yelich which was made clear during his interview today.

No reason to dwell on it…..you just grind it out and hope things get better.

His ERA is north of 4.

It is 3.70 for his career, but 4.02 as a starter.

Everyone always loves to talk about how hitting is down so much and we need to account for that when talking about stats and lower hitting numbers are the new norm and then we talk about Adrian Houser and then he's awesome because of his ERA.

Last year Stearns impressed me with not waiting and going out and getting Adames early. He needs to do the same thing this year with the mess in the outfield.

Even at 4.02, that is fine for a 5th starter.  Most fifth starters would probably be better bullpen pitchers.
