But with the power that this Jays lineup brings and the fact that we have an off day tomorrow, there's no reason not to use Boxberger, Williams, and Hader to close this out....

Be good to get Gott an appearance, especially with a 5 run lead

It's from some comic book movie.

LOL!  You can tell I'm not up on all these movies.

Yeah, I'd probably use him in the 9th instead of Hader if we still have a five run lead. Then, have Josh ready to come in if they get two guys on.

Unless they pour it on...

That’s an awful missed strike 3.

He has missed a ton of pitches in the last couple innings.

As long as Kelley doesn’t enter the game, I’m fine

Hopefully, Kelley returns to Nashville on Tuesday when Woody returns

Chi Chi will probably go for Woody. Kelley would then hopefully be out when Ashby returns. Though, there's a chance it could also be Alexander....

I’m aware that I can be quite negative in my posts regarding the Brewers being “hard to watch” this year

I have commented several times that they have only played a handful of complete games this season

Today’s game - apart from the top of the 1st - can be added to the short list of enjoyable games in the 2022 season

Hopefully, we can close out the last two innings & secure a much needed series win over a good team

I agree with you

That makes the most sense

I’m still holding out hope

The addition of Woody & Ashby as replacements for Chi Chi & Kelley is monumental

I'm also looking for Small to be added in a long relief role in the bullpen. That's where his stuff probably best plays right now and would also be in line with our developmental model for starting pitchers. Alexander can then be the 6th starter option until Freddy returns.

I’d like to see one more transaction before Tuesday’s game against the Rays

Send Hiura back to Nashville & bring Dahl to the big league club

Someone earlier mentioned converting an injured pitcher to the 60-day IL to make room for Dahl on the 40-man roster

I believe these moves would improve the club

It is so bizarre that Kirk can be an effective pro athlete at 5’8, 265. Makes Matt Stairs look like Glenn Braggs.

"Go ahead. Try to disagree with me. I dare you." Jeffrey Leonard.
