Why didn’t the Brewers trade for Gamel? They could have picked up a few wins just by keeping him off the Pirates.

I'm almost positive there's a psychological element that causes players to play better against their former teams, especially when they were traded/released/jettisoned...

I don't think there's been a season I've watched where you don't have this, a stretch where you're not good when you need to be, and when you are you can't catch a break to save your life. I'm looking forward to seeing how we respond to the last several days.

I guess Rogers is below Bush on the pecking order. Might have wanted him pitching to Reynolds and Gamel.

Easiest division in baseball, no good teams, and the Brewers are incredibly finding a way to blow it. What a terrible trade deadline.
