I know this was raised earlier, but at the All Star break the schedule was set up perfectly to have both Burnes and Woodruff pitch the first two games of this series and the last two of the Dodgers series.

I’m surprised they didn’t do that. Throwing two lefties against Goldschmidt and Arenado is not ideal

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Frelick please. Tyrone is okay, but he's pretty much just a 4th outfielder.

I agree it's time to try something. It's probably more likely than not that the impact is completely negligible but you never know. Michael Harris for Atlanta has more than held his own this year which I don't think was necessarily expected.

I fear Frelick and Turang haven't spent enough time in the minors to Brewer-proof them. I'm sure within a year of callup they'll be swinging for the moon too.

Also, Frelick is pretty much just forcing their hand at this point. No reason to have Davis on the roster.

I can’t believe people are talking about playoffs.   They are going to be about 5 games out after these ten games against the cards and dodgers.      Let alone the two New York teams next month.

brewers are going to get their heads handed to them.    They need to win these games against st Louis and all it is the same old nonsense.    Can’t get through the first inning without a two run homer and then can’t score striking out every five minutes

just a bunch of nonsense

The season series against St. Louis is tied as of right now. And the Brewers have a winning record against teams above .500. Our problem has been that we've been crapping the bed against teams like the Pirates, Cubs, and Reds lately when we should be dominating them.

We were splitting the series with them when we were better and they were crap.    We are bad now.    This is going to get ugly

we have to win these games against St. Louis to have any chance.    At all.

The teams have barely changed except for St. Louis getting Quintana and Montgomery and us getting Bush and trading Hader. There's a reason they're separated by less than a game. Agreed that they have to win some of these games against St. Louis, but this is literally the first game of the series.

11 Brewers hitters have started 0-2 tonight. 5 have started 1-2

If anything that's the most annoying thing.  They just sit there on pitch 1 and watch it.  Usually pitch 2 is the same, but sometimes they swing.

Yep. Outhitting the Cardinals tonight. Difference is the home runs and our inability to cash in with RISP.
