With the exception of Willy Adames, the hitters on the Brewers current roster have actually had quite a bit of success against Wainwright for their careers.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

I am having such a tough time watching this team. Since starting 19-8, hey are41-44 . It sure feels like that’s who they really are as a team.

This is who they are.        But they did get 14 games over and so far that’s been enough of a cushion to keep their heads above water.    But they have to win these games this weekend.   They have to

yesterday was a horrible start

As far as watching this team, the most challenging thing for me tonite will be trying to get through Brian Anderson spending the first hour or two genuflecting in front of Wainwright & Molina. If Wainwright has the same strike zone as the pitchers get in the LLWS-which often seems to be the case-it'll be a challenge.

We actually swung the bats pretty well last night. Need a few more line drives to fall in.

Take this from a guy who is not huge into fantasy etc

but Game of Thrones is easily the best TV show of all time.   I’m rewatching it and the way it meshes the complicated story together and it works.    It does fall off when the series gets to the point where the author books have ended and they needed to finish it on their own.    But up to that part it’s brilliant

Gotta get this one. Pitching matchup in our favor. Pretty much everyone in the lineup has hit Wainwright well. Hopefully the intensity is there.

Absolute must.

Burnes needs to take command and pitch like a Cy Young winner. No 50 pitches to get through 2 innings and no home runs to .150 hitting backup catchers. it shouldn’t be too much to ask for him to go at least 7 innings.

It would also help if the offense could manage a couple of early runs to keep Burnes from thinking he has to be absolutely perfect to keep the team in the game. That seems to lead to nibbling, high early pitch counts, and short outings.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

You say that like his outing last Sunday was unacceptable for a Cy Young winner when it was 6 innings of 1 run ball with 2 hits and 9 strikeouts. The offense scoring only 2 runs is what was unacceptable. And, on the year, his numbers are right at where they were last year other than the home runs. Only reason he's not the back-to-back Cy Young favorite is because of Sandy Alcantara.

But, yes. We will need a standard Corbin performance tonight. Can't afford a Pittsburgh.

I'm way more into Band of Brothers.

In the next decade we will say goodbye to the last of the WW2 vets. Father in law who passed away a few years ago was in Africa and cicely and Italy.

Wonder how many teams in the MLB don't have a single regular player hitting at least .260?

Hitting is overrated apparently from a Brewers team ownership and management point of view?

Who cares?  Let's shock the world!
