He’s tired from having to throw yesterday when we almost blew another lead against the hapless Cubbies

I would cool it down a little bit. Cubs have been a decent team since July.

can't wait for the next time Hiura K's in 2 straight AB's and the vultures are back out saying it looks like he's at the start of another cold stretch - if he would get 500 ABs Hiura might K 200 times but he'd hit 35 bombs to go with it.

Hiura cannot be starting games on the bench against RHP - they have to find ways to keep his bat in the lineup.

If you are Stearns you have to walk into Counsell's office tonight and say Craig I know the lineup is your baby but I'm telling you if I don't see Mitchell and Hiura in it you're fired.

Had to take a break from the game thread for a couple of hours as I was out to dinner. Having now read through what I missed, I really miss the game-threads of a couple years ago or even a year ago. Actual level-headed analysis, then. Not so much now....

Just pull a billy beane and cut Mccutchen tonight.    And tell counsell he won’t be playing tomorrow

You must be pissed, keston walked it off...

You are silly - foolish comment

I’ve likely been an avid Brewers fan since you were in diapers

It is possible to love a team, have unmet expectations with their performance, & still celebrate when they eek out a win over a horrid team that lit up their best pitcher

Im always happy to see a W rather than an L … but you already knew that - I’m sure you were attempting to be cute & clever

It’s okay that you missed in your attempt

Glad Keston homered & ended another frustrating game with a win

Yep, live look in at the game threads. But the new site owners have a bunch of new users so "yay"

Gosh these threads are unbearable. I figure there must be some excitement with the Mitchell hr, a handful of positive comments and the whiners are back in full force.

I don't want to criticize, but you are now whining about the whiners.

As some one that has read game threads since 2003, I disagree that anything has changed.  we’re just more sensitive and insulting in our culture and it reflects on here.

It's funny, but I've felt for a long time the Hiura backers feel that exact way about McCutchen, that they'd rather see him fail. This civil war seems more important than the results to way too many here.

Not even just the in-game threads, though they are by far the worst. I just read a post yesterday about how we should fire Counsell....

Being more vertical with less movement allows Huira to cover more of the zone.

The pitch hit out was down and in and I doubt he could have gotten to that pitch before.

Expectations are so much higher now. This always happens when a team that hasn’t had much success over a long period of time finally breaks through. I wouldn’t say that the individuals that are frustrated are worse fans, just different.

Typical crap.    Nowhere to be found and the team gets a nice moment from a new kid and everyone whipping boy hiura and the same people come in here to complain about the game thread and posters

Hindsight nonsense

I didn’t say anything negative about Keston tonight

He’s played much better in the last month

My frustration has been the “team” underperforming most of the year - offense, defense, & pitching

Not sure why you made your comment in response to my reply to your dig

Sure you did.

What is your problem. I actually have a life and a SO I have to spend time with, thank you very much. But that's par for the course for you considering you contribute so little and are one of the biggest debbie downers.
