So, Peralta is scratched..

MLB lists Woodruff and Lauer as the starters for the next two days.

Is Peralta having recurring issues, are they just skipping a start for him, or is he being pushed back a few days to pitch one of the games of the DH on Thursday?

Hopefully it’s just the latter. The fact that Peralta has been pulled in his last couple of starts despite manageable pitch counts and effective performance, pretty clearly indicated that he is still not ready to throw too many pitches every fifth day.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

I read on JSOnline.com that Peralta is not recovering well after starts.

That could probably be said about me too.

Pushed back for a little more recovery time. Guessing he will start one of the DH games on Thursday alongside Burnes.

This looks like a nice park in Denver.  Beautiful day.

I went to a game there a few years ago. It is nice. Saw the Rockies hit about a half a dozen HRs and score about 17 runs against the Reds.

I have a feeling that I am going to be very frustrated watching today's game. The Rockies put the ball in play and good things happen. The Brewers strike out with runners in scoring position. I think it is time to look forward to football season.

Looks like the charge to the playoffs will have to wait until tomorrow.

I am tired of hearing the announcers say the Brewers can’t catch a break. Maybe they should try making some plays and pitches on their own.

That day happened for me months ago.

Just non-tender Houser and be done with it.

I don't see what what Stearns and company see in this clown.

Why don't WE emphasize putting the damn ball in play?

And sacrifice exit velocity?
