Now we know what they planned on doing with the cash saved from the Burnes contract. Seriously though we could use another lefty in the pen, if he's healthy he's not a bad option for that price.

As an upside play with a chance to be a value next season based on the contracts that were given out, I like it. I do wish, though, that they had done something else to raise the floor of the bullpen, though, even acknowledging that bullpen performance is notoriously volatile.
