I’m optimistic that bringing this thread back to the forefront will spark some more optimism here.

Miley coming back and pitching well was very pleasant to see.   I’m looking forward to when Woody comes back.

Winning the series against the bucks wS/is a good thing.

Well at least we can be optimistic that even when we are extremely mediocre, we are still way better then the pirates and reds.

Our lineup is a bunch of .230 hitters and we are in first place.

Our bullpen is largely a bunch of unproven, cheap, young no names outside of Wiiliams….12th best ERA in baseball

Our starters, many either hurt, in the minors, in the pen or doing worse than last year….12th best ERA

Defense is a top five in baseball, and that tends to stay more consistent than other stats.

With health to Woodruff and a few others, including Hiura and Frelick, and a few minor upgrades that should not cost tons of prospect capital, we are sitting in an excellent spot come mid-summer.

Don’t look now but the Reds have won 9 in a row and are in first place. On the other hand, the Brewers have scored the fewest runs in the NL.

This is an optimism thread we are also 6-1 against the Reds and Pirates this year .

It was meant head to head.

Sorry.  We are in second place, only 0.5 games behind the Reds and we are only 30 runs within being in the top 10 in the NL in runs scored.

This win tonight is a huge one. I know, it counts the same as the ones where we completely owned teams, but how this team won says a lot. The fell down early, but got back up and roared back.

Makes me feel good. Kind of a 2018 vibe.

Not to mention Adames, Urias, and Winker all had good games at the plate. We desperately need those 3 to start hitting better and hopefully today was the day that starts happening.

On this date in 2011, the Brewers were 40-34.

I sense a second half like 2011 this season.

Only 30 runs... Could take us a week to score that many runs.
