That Texas lineup is crazy.  Every hitter in the lineup tonight is OPSing over .800 and seven guys hitting .290 or better.  Wowser.

They are incredibly skilled as hitters … so opposite our Brew Crew

Good Grief …

What is our record this year against Lefties?

It’s probably not as bad as I think, but it seems like - this year & last year - if a person has the ability to throw left handed, he should start against the Brewers

Also … What is our record this year against Righties?

What happened?

Just that he keeps getting hit around with an ERA and xERA over 6 and an average FB velocity of 87 MPH.

I'm pretty sure if you set a tee on home plate and someone placed the ball on the tee using their left hand, the tee could pitch six shutout innings

I seldom laugh out loud … but this one made me LOL! 😂

I’ve never seen a team so bad VS Lefties and shut out so much! That said… the A’s are doing work on the Pirates so first will be ours for another day !

I'm only partly not serious in the next statement. I am thinking the Brewers should have American legion left handed pitchers pitch batting practice for the next couple of months.

If he pitches left handed against the Brewers he'll probably shut them out.

Abbott settled down & pitched pretty well, but we helped him by deciding to, for whatever reason, go from patient the first two innings to Bob Uecker "GOTTA GO TO HACKIN'!!!" mode in the next three.

Wiemer puts up his one failed AB the one time it could've turned momentum. That kinda night.

Old friend Jace Peterson must not like the Brewers. 1 out bases loaded and he strikes out swinging.

Tbf to Wiemer he almost hit a third deck home run in the AB, hooked just foul but absolutely monstered

The Crew don't hit that much better against RHP either.  Below NL average against RHP and way below average against LHP.

71 wRC+ vs LHP
93 wRC+ vs RHP

A 93 wRC+ is below average sure, but it is still 22% better than a 71 wRC+.

A Brewer with a 71 wRC+ was Erik Kratz. A Brewer with a 93 wRC+ was Jose Hernandez.

I’d say Jose Hernandez was a much better hitter than Erik Kratz, that’s why he got 5,000+ plate appearances in his career and Kratz couldn’t even crack 1,000.

Yes, the Crew are slightly better below average against RHP than way below average LHP.

I agree with you Jose Hernandez was a better hitter than Erik Kratz.

Agreed. His ABs have looked great lately. Just a "Murphys' law" deal that the one AB last nite that wasn't a double was when he had a couple runners on. Like I said, one of those nights.
