This will be an interesting four-game set in Milwaukee. The Brewers are six games over .500 with a negative run differential, the Cubs are six games under .500 with a positive run differential. Can Teheran keep up his magical performances today?

Worried a little about this series. I think the Brewers match-up well with the Reds. Similarly, I think the Cubs match-up well with the Brewers. Starting pitching is good, other than Taillon who won't pitch this series. Two lefties going. We'll see.

Cubs had to cover 10 innings yesterday, didn't end until late, Alloway had to throw 25 pitches, so hopefully they'll be tired.

Go Crew!

Hendricks has over performed in a small sample size, but I think this Brewers lineup might like him. Other than that, it's can we keep the Cubs offense down, because on paper that's a good team and good starting pitchers. A few homers here or there may make all the difference, but hoping we get a good teheran outing, an early win takes the pressure off big time

Even for the Brewers, this is a late lieup card... wonder if someone's injured

The Cubs have the edge in SP matchups in this series with 2 good lefties and Stroman. Hendricks seems to run hot or cold against the Brewers.

The Brewers matchup with the Reds may be significantly different than the series last month with de la Cruz in the mix and the rest of their offense hot and able to steal bases at will. They’ll also have Aboott again. I don’t think the Brewers can shut down that offense or slug it out with them like the Braves did.

Between the heavy load of inter divisional games (including the 3 series against the Reds) and the two series against the Braves, this month could tell us a lot about the Brewers prospects for the playoffs. Another extended hitting slump could bury them.

I think a split with the Cubs (due to the pitching matchups) and 2/3 from the Reds is a reasonable outcome here. Would be fine with that heading into the break.

I would take that right now if offered.

With all of the holiday activities going on I expect the Cubs to have the home crowd advantage today and tomorrow too.

Treading water sounds about right.  Though losing both series wouldn't shock me.  Sustained success has not exactly been a hallmark this year.

Well, we're going to have to score some runs today.

Veteran lefty on the hill with a decent lead......

Some shoddy defense this inning.

Maybe a couple of failures to make spectacular plays but, for the second outing in a row Teheran isn’t fooling anyone.
