This team can’t hit

To be fair, Gore is one of the best young lefties in the game. I suspected this was going to happen going in.

It's not that often anymore than any pitcher in the MLB goes past the 6th inning.

Not saying I expect it every time, but when almost every game is close and there are no off days in the near future it can be a big help to do,it once in a while.

With Miley only going 4 today it’s going to take 4 or 5 relievers to get a win today. Even one more inning from Peralta last night would have helped a little.

Announcers go out of their way to praise sometimes. "Good baserunning by Brice Turang to stay at second..."

"Go ahead. Try to disagree with me. I dare you." Jeffrey Leonard.

Looks to me that the Trade of Urias (he caught that ball) is a big confidence boost to Turang. If not, it should be.  AND with sending Miller down too, Turang is getting at bats in August.

If that is Adames, he is out at 3rd, though.

Seems like Adames misses a lot of fastballs.

Especially the ones at his eyes.

It wouldn't be so bad if they were fastballs in the strike zone.

Adames would be bad this year batting 9th. Pretending he is a stick is costing us dearly.

I was thinking that REALLY good baserunnjng would have been to break to third when the SS let the throw go to first. With the throw coming  from deep in the hole he likely could have made it to third before the first baseman could field the throw and send a return throw back to third.

That would have earned extra credit.

Then he'd be Keston Hiura. 😉

Saw Molitor do it frequently… a rarity for almost anyone else.

The Brewers could use some robot hitters who recognize the strike zone.

Is Wiemer in CF for the next decade?

Between Wiemer, Frelick, Mitchell, and Chourio it's going to be a fun few years watching an elite OF take all sorts of hits away.
