It’s pretty amazing how during 162 games every year we have 1-2 weeks of ok hitting once a year and that’s it.

I've been very busy today.  Has anyone here mentioned how unfortunate it's been for Woody to make a stellar re-debut with support only from our ultra-pathetic offense?  I suspect it's been mentioned a time or 20. Bughghghghgh.

That would be their job to get them to hit. If the coaches cannot do it, get someone else. Sports are a meritocracy.

but it gets so tiring to never score.    I mean we are getting shutout again.   It’s just hard to bite your tongue after awhile.    

It’s less tiring than listening to complaints about the umpires every night. The lack of offense is a much bigger factor in the outcome of games.

Cubs are going to win the series against braves.      This division is over done and dusted.     Reds are doing their best to keep us alive but I expect them to pass us too.         The talent on the field for the brewers is appalling

How long must we wait for Adames to get out of his "slump"? Sure there is something fundamentally messed up with his approach at the plate?

Counsell has broken Adames by keeping him in the lineup in the cleanup spot no less. A guy needs a mental health day every once in a while.
