This inning brought to you by just making contact.   Yelich bloops one in and Frelich punches a double.

I wonder if Adames and Weimer are taking notice?

That is indeed a thing of beauty swing by Sal

I have more hope for him than probably any Brewer out of the farm system in a decade.

2024 is going to be fun baseball to watch again!

Frelick, Yelich, Contreras + Mitchell, Black, Chourio - that will be enjoyable offense

Too bad the pitching will be gone. At least they'll be more entertaining.

I’d temper that enthusiasm a little. Not a whole lot of proven major league hitters there.

Interesting move with Peguero here...Chafin and/or Uribe must have passed him up in the pecking order.

I think so too. Maybe Elvis is mopping up in a laugher.

Rock says with Burnes, Woodruff, and Peralta, the Brewers could do damage in the postseason.

What madness.

This is like double secret sarcasm here.

I'd consider him a top priority to lock up over the long term. That's your leadoff guy, folks. Bump Yelich to the 3 hole... see his extra-base hits come with folks on base. 😁

I don't think that's necessarily the case.  Was warming up late in the 7th (in case Peralta got into trouble) and wasn't worth not using him when warm.   I do think we will see scenarios where Chafin or Uribe get a call in the 7th under circumstances but tonight didn't seem like this was the game where it was going to happen.  Circumstances made it worth him getting the 8th.

We'll see. How many times have we seen guys start out great and then drift away. But Sal does look like a guy who belongs. I'm hopeful, as always.

Any Tyrone Taylor with another jack... is he heating up late in the season?

The positive regression was always coming with his OPS nearing the 300s...
