I was almost wondering if it would make sense for Turang to bunt.

He got the functional equivalent.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Rally short circuit. When I keep saying that the manager isn't helping this is a perfect example.

If you’re thinking Wiemer  should have bunted, my guess is that the chances that he would lay down a successful bunt against that pitcher are next to zero.

I’m not sure why you throw Duran for 2 innings but thank you Rocco.

Also, the Twins bullpen. Woof.

It didn't look like he lost any velocity but he didn't land the slider.

Yes.     The brewers are slowly getting that winning team mentality now on offense.    But for god sakes.   Come back frelick.     No more wiemer

For me, it was just having Wiemer at the plate there. If you pinch hit Tellez, not only do you have someone who's more likely to make contact, but if he rolls over on it like Wiemer did, it would go to the right side to allow the baserunner to advance.

Ended up not mattering, but that was a mistake imo.

Yeah, Wiemer with zero sac bunts in college or as a professional, trying to lay one down on Duran, who has some of the nastiest stuff in MLB, is a slim to none type of scenario. Way better chance of something happening swinging away.

What a great game to be at , other than the heat ! Our crew has been looking better now that our bats don't look so anemic ! All we asked for was middle of the pack offense with this pitching ! Just have to keep it going !
