After the Brewers loaded the bases with no outs and got only one run in, a Brewers fan went up to the sage and said to him, “this offense is doomed!” And the sage replied, “we’ll see.”

A second man went up to the sage after they scored six more runs in the next inning and said to him, “this offense is saved!” And the sage replied, “we’ll see.”

That was a comment on the commentary here in the IGT

Makes sense … your posts have been quite negative tonight - very disappointing

You are usually more pleasant - but everyone has an off day now & then

That’s a very measured response. I guess that’s why I never see a sage posting in the game threads.

My sarcasm should be more blue...

If everyone focused more on the Brewers (or Connor Joe's hair) and less on other posters, we could achieve world peace.

I think that's your game 1 starter right there.

Hopefully Woody will be the September NL pitcher of the month

Burnes - July

Peralta - August

Will Milwaukee call on Megill for the last two innings?

Don't we have Clayton Andrews?  I would call on him.

Unless something changes he should be.

I would also add if things continue the way they are going right now it would be hard to take Peralta and Miley out of a starting role in the postseason.  Over the past month Burnes has been our 4th best starter.

I love Miley, but I wouldn't start him over Burnes in a playoff series.

Last time In Pittsburgh for Andrews was a dumpster fire, turning a 11-2 rout into a save situation. Maybe it would be a better go around tonight.

Me neither.  I just think if Miley continues to do what he is doing and Burnes continues to struggle with walks and the long ball I think it's at least a possibility under the right team/right scenario in the postseason.
