You may as well quit now. They will never be able to pay for offense. Their only hope is the farm and cashing in before they have to pay them.

And you know that will never happen.

I get tired of saying this repeatedly, but they are able to pay for hitting, they just choose not to. It's that simple. The Bucks are the smallest market in the NBA and yet are willing to go over the double tax apron to try to win titles. Don't tell me the Brewers can't spend more money if they choose to. Anyway, ya'll enjoy the off season when they sign a bunch of washed up 1 year deals for hitting thinking it's going to help. I'm done with the hope and the "just get to the playoffs" mentality.

Now that the season's over I have some very definite opinions on how to move on to next season and believe me, it isn't running it back one more year.

I'm not interested in another bite of this rotten apple either.

the wild thing is they'll get it because most people just like things. a playoff loss isn't this crushing defeat to most people like it is to the diehards.

Mark robbing this state/county/city blind

Which will be about a two year window.

Did Yelich break back on that? Or are my eyes deceiving me?

He would have never got there and it seemed both runner knew it. Not sure he could have faked it to even trick the 2nd base runner to be honest.

Yeah, it kind of feels like a whole lot of activity come winter meeting should be occurring this offseason if they go feebly into the night after that disastrous top of the 6th.

Agreed. They paid Yelich and it blew up on them. It's not like they can't. They just are gun shy and you kinda can't blame them. That said they are not being serious if they just waiting on his deal to end.

We have like 7 guys on the Mendoza line. Look at what the top guys earn. We'd be spending $800 million to hit like Atlanta. It's never going to happen.

It's a dumb league with a stupid structure. The best case scenario would be the whole thing blowing up and starting over from scratch.

Veterans again.  Can't field a ground ball at you.  Freddy tires and elevates the ball and walks straight to the showers.  I guess he knew what was going to follow.  It doesn't matter the decade or even the century- put a Brewer uniform on them and watch them shart themselves in the post season.

It starts with completely rethinking hitting from top to bottom.

Might get another bite of the apple. Adames was a train wreck this year, Woodruff is limping into the off-season barely playing all year, and Burnes was disappointing for the most part.

who wants to twice up a good return for them?
