Question is, does Gute start to get tempted to move up?

For Mitchell or Fautanu?

I don't think so, but those would be the two I'd go up and get. Chicago is going to be DEEP at WR.

I'd wait until at least ~18 or so. Moving up from here is likely going to cost us a future 1st or both our 2nds. I don't think it's worth it.

My only reasoning is with 6 QBs taken there's some top 10 talent out there, getting a guy that maybe, probably shouldn't still be there has to be tempting. But maybe the move is standing pat or moving down too.

I'm watching ESPN for some reason...their "best available," is not the best available IMO. Hopefully Turner, Latu go, Murphy, Newton...Mitchell or Arnold falling would definitely make it more interesting.

I think Mitchell goes here and Arnold will go to Philly at best, probably earlier.

Byron Murphy or Terrion Arnold would sure be tempting to move up and get.

I like Murphy...probably not for a trade up to 15 though. Didn't watch Arnold closely enough, but Mitchell from Toledo looked legit. Really good fit for press man and physical in the run game.

Regardless of what happens from here you gotta love how this first round has fallen so far. No CB taken? Dallas Turner still there? Sheeeesh.

Yup! I'd start think about moving up here maybe. Seattle I would think would go Turner(CB, LT top 10 last two years)...18 you'd have your pick.

I'd written him off because everybody in the world had him going to the Colts.

I'd be interesting to know what Gutenkunst is thinking with all this.

So at the price Minnesota just paid would we be upset with a similar price for the Packers to move up?

What'd they give up?

No, especially with future mid rounders

Certainly seems like Minnesota gave up a lot there. BUT that's a Top 10 talent. Hard to disagree with going to go for that type of upside.

A 5th this year, and a 3rd and 4th next year.

Man, I don't know. That's where you build the heart of your team. If you think you can get a immediate impact player AND a long term starter, sure. With Mitchell, Arnold and Fautanu...I might stand pat. Thomas is likely to go at some point here. Oh, and Wiggins.

I would REALLY think Cincy would take the OT, but I've been wrong on the last two I thought were obvious, Mitchell to Indy and Turner to Seattle.

The only reason I would question the trade for the Vikes is they have already given up a lot to trade up this year. For the Packers I could live with that trade for sure. But I guess the Vikes are expecting some high comp picks so maybe it makes sense. I always think a 3rd and 4th next year is like a 4th and 5th this year.

Mims gone. Yes!

The closer we get the price goes down and I assume the value in this year's 4th and 5th round are more valuable than the future picks Minn gave up.

So far I'm liking the picks that are going in that I still haven't heard a name that crushes me.

Have to admit I’m kind of relieved Mims was taken - talented but a lot of risk

Eh, he missed a lot of time and unlike Guyton, I don't think he can play OG well in this system.

Guyton on the other hand?

I'm just REALLY surprised the top CBs and Fautanu are all still on the board.

Fautanu might have a medical issue. Not immediate concern but LT concern. Tony Pauline discussed it this past week quite a bit.

Agreed. The two that I thought would be gone in the early teens are still there.

I keep saying Fautanu has to go ...but the Rams should probably go get one, but...hell, they also need to replace Donald.
