I went into tonight feeling pretty chill about things knowing the Packers would have good options but I am getting pretty hyped with the guys that could still be there at 25. I think Mitchell is my dream pick right now.

Fautanu might have a medical issue. Not immediate concern but LT concern. Tony Pauline discussed it this past week quite a bit.

Yeah, I'm just skeptical of these "late reports," that may impact longevity. I'd think the Packers would have brought him in, but perhaps he's not even on their board.

How often do we find out after the fact, a team didn't even have a certain player on their board.

And Verse gone to the Rams! We're now in the range where...we're going to get a REALLY good player either way.

1-Fautanu
2-Mitchell
3-Wiggins(I think he goes to Philly)
4-DeJean
5-Arnold

NO particular order and I'd guess Brian Thomas goes in there. Does Mitchell actually fall? Did I just jinx it by asking that question?

I don't know why some are so gung ho to trade up. We have five top 100 picks. Let's use them. The way the draft is playing out so far, there's going to be a really good player available at 25.

I tend to agree with this. The way it has fallen? No trades. Pick.

I have a few guys on my board that I would be happy with. I am anticipating most of them will be available and we won't take them or will trade back 🤣(To be fair, Gute deserves the benefit of the doubt)

I mean, it would be the most Packers thing ever for them to trade down. It wouldn't shock me.

It would, and I sure don't hope they do that either.

Mitchell was on my first draft but he got so much helium at the Senior Bowl and then at the Combine, I thought he'd be long gone by now.

I think I'd be happy to whiff on my 1st round picks to get him.

I agree with this message 100%

LOL...exactly. Just because Gute seems to do the opposite that is expected of him.

Fautanu is the first guy I hate to see go. He was a plug and play stud OG and a future LT...IMO.

Miami probably would have taken him though.

I hope Wiggins goes to Philly.

ALL week my pops was in 'draft mode'. Yesterday he comes up with this scheme we all call the Packers picks when they are on the clock. ALL day he says he is last minute cramming for the draft (I don't even know what this means - hilarious).

SO, I have Rd 1 responsibility for guestimation. Where is 'Grampi'? DEEP ASLEEP on East Coast time.

Amazing. Simply amazing cajones.

Yeah, a big, physical corner who excels in press man as you're moving to a press man scheme?

Not here quite yet. Wiggins feels like one of their types of players. I just want to speak that into existence. Guyton feels like a Dallas type player(he reminds me of Tyron Smith, he's just raw).

Mitchell is gone

there will be a really good defensive player available if Gute wants to go that way.  So I am totally preparing myself for  a Jordan Morgan pick

Yeah...kinda. You also trade back if you have 5 guys with similar grades.

There's just something about Peter that's annoying.

So trading back will create players you like if there currently aren't any you like?  Hogwash.

Eagles just let everyone reach and wait for guys to fall in their laps.

I guess it depends on how far you trade back

Of course...it's just Peter, "I do this for a living, we're not alike," with the 'let me repeat what I said earlier because I'm that right.'

It can go wrong like when we traded back and passed up Watt or it can pay off like when we traded back for Jordy.

You like them more when you don't have to overspend to get them.
