I wonder what the best season winning percentage a division has ever had in the NFL?

Here's the Bears remaining schedule:

@Cardnals
vs. Patriots

then...

The only time I cheer for the Cowboys is when they play the Bears.

Favorite Team = Packers

2nd Fav: Whomever is playing the Vikings

3rd Fav: Whomever is playing the Bears

4th Fav: Whomever is playing the Cowboys.  #JerryJonesEffect

No need to put Jerry Jones effect there. I have hated the Cowboys since birth.

I could watch this all day long.

It is like being a Brewers fan.  I think I enjoy the misery of losing in weird and bad ways.

Not sure how old you are, but I respected Tom Landry a lot.

I'll cheer for the Cowboys so long as Ferguson catches the pass. I've otherwise grown somewhat indifferent. It's hard to hate something you don't so much fear anymore.

A co-worker is a Cowboys fan. He was done after the Packers game and has never really come back from that. He gave up on this season many weeks ago and has been all for hitting the complete reset button. I asked what he would do if he had the #4 pick in the draft and he'd take a RB, which I thought was ridiculous.

The Cowboys are doomed until at least Jerry is gone. I'm indifferent about them, but they need a real GM and they won't have one as long as Jerry has to be directly responsible for winning their next championship. The Herschel Walker trade set him up to think he is a genius at management and he has never relinquished control since then.

The Packers broke the Cowboys last year.

Multiple times honestly. 2014, 2016, 2023 were all crushing defeats for that franchise that robbed them of what could have been critical turning points.

Kind of cyclical, since the Cowboys were a huge thorn in the Packers side with Favre/Holmgren, too a generation earlier

Those Favre playoff losses (ALL AT DALLAS) are scars that are still healing...

Major difference though is that the Packers were not expected to win any of those 90s games. You can make a case for the 1995 NFFCG but even then the Packers were not favored by any stretch.

'16 and '23 Cowboys were supposed to be on championship runs. In '14 they were pretty evenly matched, I'm sure the Packers were favored though. But all 3 games were a chance for the Cowboys to turn a real corner again and they couldn't.

The Dez game still bugs me for all the people who act like the game was over if they rule his catch a catch...The Packers get the ball back, down 2, with like 3.5 minutes left. Or just stop the Packers and get the ball back, which they also failed to do.

LOL...really? A RB? There are really good RBs in this draft. The...36th pick will get you a really good RB. The 4th pick could get you an elite DL. Assume QBs go in the top 3(1 or 2 at least) and you could get a guy one of those Michigan DL or the kid from Kentucky who could really help fix that defense.

They're so soft up the middle.

But then you realize that poorly run organizations...it almost doesn't matter how much talent they have, they stay bad. The Jets. Even if you think Rodgers has fallen off, he's still EASILY good enough they could have 5-6 wins. But bad teams find a way to stay bad.

There needs to be a postmortem brain study upon their eventual deaths for any football player who drops the football before the goalline in celebration.

I’m happy for Aaron and Davante. They both made some vintage plays in the second half of this game and are coming away with a well-deserved victory. It was nice to see that again.

But Wilson’s catch is still the story. Wow.

How about a HC who kids a FG after using one of his 3 TOs on 3rd down-down 11 points with 39 seconds left from the ~10?

Why WOULDN'T you try and get the TD there?

I know this sounds nuts, but I think they'll be in the playoff race EOY.

Might not get in, but 10-7 is plausible, 9-8 would be my bet.

Agreed.  The AFC is kind of a slog besides KC and Baltimore....and their remaining schedule offers them a legit shot at getting back to that ~0.500 mark to eek into the postseason, where they could cause problems if they can figure out how to block and keep Rodgers upright.

Or even who to block... Right before the incredible TD catch, the Jets ran a failed WR screen.  Mike Williams inexplicably tried to block a CB that was covering another WR, leaving his CB free to run in and drop the play for a 3-4 yard loss.

It was really obvious who he was supposed to block, but still ran after the other CB... I'm sure Rodgers will have a few choice words for him in their next film session.
