Good thing the Brewers have a rested bullpen backing up the starter today.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Freddy with about as ugly a pitch map you could see in that 1st inning. Basically everything was either center cut or non-competitve.

When you have black holes in the lineup they going to come up at the worst time. Too bad Monteserio can't play the outfield. He has been jerked around after last season being good.

Why isn't Turang leading off? 0.381 OBP, leads the league in SB. Turang to Contreras to Yelich would be ideal.

Would you really want Turang to be running as much with guys like Contreras and Yelich at the plate?

Hmmm fair enough. But maybe? Turang single, stolen base and then Contreras or Yelich can easily drive him in from 2nd? 86% career success rate in SB (includes minors).

To avoid grouping poor hitters together is my poinion.

Bauers is the best ever.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Peralta needs to get out of the way, that was an accident waiting to happen on a pop up coming off the hill.

I'm not sure why anybody thinks Black is going to be any less susceptible to the offensive struggles the other young guys have had to deal with.

Also just looked and so far Black has only played one game at 3B in the minors this year.   So maybe they've decided he can't hack it there.  Its the spot most open or likely where a call up could be needed so its a bit surprising he's not getting work in at it.

I went back to work 2 months after my STEMI - I have a primarily desk job (Psychologist) but am pretty sure I came back too early and wore out pretty bad by the end of the week.  No a month back to work and I feel almost back to normal.

Pay attention to your body and pace yourself.  It'll will come in time but you don't want a set back. Mine was complicated by the fact I was in Mexico on vacation when it hit.  So had to wait a couple of weeks to come back and then having medical chart all in Spanish slowed the process down a bit. But alls well that ends well and all that.

Thanks.  I'm trying to go easy.  I had an aortic dissection back in January.  Wasn't a fun journey at all.

Questions are a burden.   And answers a prison for one's self.
