It might be a case of leaving well enough alone, like you alluded to. Could be waiting until they get to the point where Turang is more comfy vs LHP so he can be plugged in there regularly. Or maybe they just like him coming up with a baserunner or two since his situational hitting has been terrific.

Perhaps the biggest argument in favor of it is the thought of Contreras hitting behind him, with that RF stroke of his. With Turang on ahead of him that would be a lot of fun.

He’ll be up, just a matter of when.

Threw four innings and forty nine pitches on Weds 4/24.

Could make his next start next week versus TB or they might want to give him one more rehab start to build up a little more before making his MLB debut.

Janson Junk was originally listed as the starter for Nashville today. It's now Nick Bennett. Have a feeling Junk will be up for Koenig today to give the Brewers an innings eater in the back of the pen.

However this plays out re the rotation, I'm looking forward to Bryce Wilson returning to the multi-innings role in the pen he filled last year. Important role, & he filled it well.

If there is any silver lining to the Miley injury is that we can transfer him to the 60-day IL and add Gasser so we won't need to DFA anyone.

Turang getting the day off against the lefty…….Murphy said post game that he was banged up and needed a day off but was gutting it out.

Weimer is not ready. You have to let him play today, I get it, but I am counting the days until maybe Mitchell gets another shot.

Hard to complain about this team so far. Really hope our injury luck improves later in the season.
