Was just gonna post similar.  A Cards fan or Gray's entourage you have to wonder why he's out there right now racking up this on his arm at his age.  He didn't have it today, game is as good as over.   With his age and some past injuries seems you should get him out.

I think people are fine with the general concept of extending him. It's potentially paying a ton of money to a catcher in his early to mid 30s that rightfully scares people.

Even if Brewers offered, I don't think it would happen. One of the reporters asked him about an extension and it seemed pretty clear to me that he's going to test FA eventually.

I do get that but his bat plays forever as dh at least. Production is ridiculous.
