I have brought up this concern recently, but no one really agrees with me.

There just aren't a lot of guys little in stature that go on to have big MLB careers.

I mean, Altuve is the obvious exception.

Robert Moore was another guy who was just little.  He's been traded, so I haven't followed him this year.

I’m exactly the same size as Altuve … at 63, I’m not in the same shape but we are both 5’6” & 165 lbs. I need to trim back to 150. 

I played through college, but baseball is no longer a small man’s game.

Watching Goldschmidt with his grey beard come out there to talk with Lance Lynn's grey beard on Lynn's way out of the game was something. The Cardinals got old.. quick (they were pretty old).. but man, didn't expect this level of futility. Not complaining.
