Does our offense think they get a practice inning before the game starts?  That was awful all around.

Hope Brown is on a tight pitch limit.

Looks like we have to wait until tomorrow to hope for a run against a Cubs starter.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Really feels like this would have gone differently had Turang not chased a pitch 6 inches outside on 2-0. Brown's first 3 pitches weren't even close to strikes and since Turang chased that 2-0 pitch he's just pounded the strike zone.

Cmon.

Not saying it'll happen, but we've now gone 27 1/3 innings against their starters without a run and we lost 1-0 in Freddy's last start.

Maybe take the balls and swing at the strikes.

Churio has a long way to go.

He may get there but it won't be fast.

I realize that I really ripped into you with that c’mon.

The Brewers were also shut out in Peralta’s first start against the Cubs.

One run being enough is not out of the question.

CHOURIO

It's Chourio!

C'mon people, be better, it's been months of seeing people here murder the kid's name.  Just add the "o" already.

It's a given that Counsell knows the scout on our hitters. The question is what adjustments are our guys going to finally make?

I think every team has pretty good scouting reports on every other team.  Not many secrets these days.

Not sure I read an exact figure but I did read something from a Mets site that they were definitely interested in hiring him but were never going to come close to the numbers he got…….and they kind of suggested that although Counsel took the interview they never got the feeling he wanted to move to NY.

The Mets weren't even willing to meet the Brewers numbers let alone get anywhere close to the Cubs numbers.  The contract the Brewers offered is what CC shopped around.  Cleveland didn't want to get into a bidding war and they bowed out early.  The Cubs came around at the last minute.  It was a take it or leave it type of deal and well we know what CC did.  The Brewers had a 0% chance of matching the Cubs offer and I don't think they would have even had tried.  That is just way too much to give to a manager.

Brown has electric stuff. Brewers just need one guy like this to really have something cooking. Should have traded them Counsell a year ago.
