One of the reasons Braun was always a .300 hitter in his prime was because he was fast enough to leg out slow choppers to the left side and could 'steal' hits. Same with Yelich.

Chourio has 1.25x the speed of Braun and probably also Yelich. He will be stealing a lot of hits for the next decade.

If they overturn this it would be a travesty. The last one was closer.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Looks safe to me. This is why I never have a problem with the manager challenging a play at any point in the game because even if you don't have a challenge you can just ask nicely and they'll give you another one.

Just saw that Colorado put Blalock right into their rotation and he's been good so now I'm more annoyed.

Score ANOTHER one for the contact play...even if he turns out to be out...

Way out of baseline…and I think out on tag before he hits plate.
We’ll take it as make up from St. Louis.

Are they “giving” him a day or is he physically unable to go?

Nothing has been reported to make any of us think he couldn’t go after 2 days off.

Please explain the crew chief review to me

The manager tells the umpire "We already used our challenge but we want you to look at it again anyway" and the umpire says "okay."

He was neither out of the baseline nor out.

The baseline is determined when the pursuit of runner is established.
