You don't put out a lineup with Rhys Hoskins hitting #2 and Chourio and Contreras off if you're playing for anything. I think this lineup is the official white flag on the pursuit of a top 2 seed. Which, is probably the right call.

Haven't gone full coast yet but I suspect by Monday you'll see a lot of Collins and Monasterio in the lineup.

Let Sanchez and Haase catch all remaining games and get Capra and Hicklen up here. Let the key guys rest. We don't need any stupid injuries

Woa, that line-up is pretty punchless.

Hoskins at #2?  lol

I expect to see us score at least 7 because that is how baseball works.

Good luck with that. WC round gonna be similar to last year IMO. Relatively low energy and plenty of empty seats.

This WC round will be like last year, especially if we meet up with AZ again.  They will be full of confidence and will dispatch the Crew in short order.  I fully expect them to sweep us this weekend.

I think we're probably going to end up with the Mets.

Probably although the Mets are a pretty damn good team in their own right. Really good and deep offense and a solid pitching staff that's been really good in the 2nd half of the year.

Yeah. No cakewalks in the NL this year.

Totally ruined that inning.

Playing one of the top offenses in the MLB and you're giving away outs bunting while down by 2 runs in the 3rd...it's scary to think about how often we might be bunting in the playoffs.

I have to assume it's on the player to bunt but I wish everyone on this team would just cease bunting completely. Just stop giving up outs.

I’ve seen this story before. Like 4 times the past 5 years. Same old, same old.

It would be interesting to see our offensive stats in September and beyond for the past 5 or so years.  We do seem to struggle offensively once September rolls around.

Brewers SP IP by game since DL Hall started against Arizona last weekend.

That's an average of 4.4 IP per start over a stretch of 7 games in a row. Brewers relievers must be on fumes right now.
