Should we keep this forum?

I’ve been looking at the traffic in the Brewers forum and it’s pretty light. We could easily merge this forum back into that one and give people fewer places to check for conversations. Thoughts? Pros and cons of keeping this forum separate?

I think keep unless you are able to add a filtering by tags in the main forum.

I agree with TURBO!! I check this a coulple times a day and enjoy the varied view points on the site. Some of the participents go deep into stats that I have no idea where to find.

So, to clarify, post about trade rumors wouldn’t disappear they simply would be in the major league forum. 

I assume not everyone checks both forums regularly.

The reason why the forum is separate is that the posts on the main forum got people confused between rumors and actual transactions which led to lots of anger.

Please keep the forum. Try to come up with a way to get some of the better posters to participate. I think it gets ignored because the quality of content is mostly crap.

One reason I like this forum is simply to keep a lot of dumb stuff (no judgement! I like dumb stuff sometimes) off of the main board.

Also, THIS board has also been pretty light lately. But there really isn't much to talk about right now. I think everyone is just waiting for stuff to happen.

I think keep it, it really should only be active in the offseason / trade deadline anyway....easier to separate rumors from actual moves.

I'm surprised there was not more outrage at the Deivi Garcia.  Usually we get the sarcastic World series here we come stuff. Or complaining that the Brewers are not doing enough yet.

There are yearly ebbs and flows of views and now might be low.  But mid-season when the trade deadline deals are flowing and the MLB forum is full swing, I think it would be pretty messy to have one forum. 

I vote to keep it. 

I was just debating if the MLB forum was the right place for all the individual salary cap posts... or if we could combine them all into one.  Not sure I want to read each and every person's ideas on our salary cap...
