Pitching staff is on life support and we’re 20 innings into the season.  Need some arms to step up and soon.

Also probably going to see a whole lot of teams start using those Yankee bats…

Look, the Brewers should be very concerned about their pitching staff for the season. This isn’t normal.

Neither are those bats

This series is a disaster. It doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things, but still frustrating.

Honestly, the Yankees are going to club a lot of people. But between our pitching being a mess and the offense really struggling to get runs on the board without help (Devin's walks Thursday, the errors in the second yesterday), it's hard to see a lot to be happy with.

I think we'll turn it around this coming week. And, hey, we swept the Mets to start last year, and they ended up having a nice little playoff run.

Everyone still going to complain about the stadium dimensions like we don’t also get awarded a homerun if anyone on our team was capable of pulling a ball 340 feet down the lines.

Conner Thomas should have pitched six innings yesterday

Our bullpen is going to be taxed for several days now

as I mentioned OFTEN last season - Murphy is not a good “in game” manager … his greatest gifts are his personality & ability to connect with the players

To be fair, the Brewers have an entire starting rotation on the IL.

Guys on the IL is part of the disaster, but it is also a fact.. t's not like they have any sure things among the pitchers on the IL, most of whom have been more on than off the IL for the last two years.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

There is no circumstance where you have an option on a starting pitcher for 5 million bucks and you don't take it.  Rae wasn't a Cy young guy but a decent starter for 5 million dollars and now you have to sign Quintana and he's not ready. How about sign them both?

This is crazy.  It’s 50 degrees all weekend which typically doesn’t equate a bunch of home runs.  Maybe our pitchers have been that bad, but it’s getting to the point where you wonder how much of an impact those bats are having.

For most organizations, in this day and age, 5 million dollars is nothing more than a rounding error.

For the Brewers, they still treat it as a significant investment.

You still have to get the bat on the ball and hot it with some authority.

That's something a decent major league pitcher can help prevent.
