That bottom of the 10th was 100% on Jake Bauers. Frelick stung the ball and just got unlucky and by the time Capra came up, he needed a hit.

Bauers was in a situation where a fly ball wins the game especially with Chourio’s speed. Striking out is the 2nd worst thing you can do. He gets a gift to not get rung up on 1-2, and instead of taking advantage, takes yet another good pitch with 2 strikes and this time pays for it. Swing the damn bat. A 0 IQ at-bat.

Let’s hope they can overcome it and win anyway.

Definitely safety but almost looked like a suicide because of how easily the run scored. Zero shot at home. Perfect bunt.
