Ray and Adames have something in common in that they both got paid in free agency.  Don't think Ray will pay though, the Giants will be doing that for a while and probably already have buyers remorse.

Willy is struggling. Except for our series with the Giants, I hope he does well.

I don't cheer for guys who leave the Brew Crew out of their free will.

Adames is very easy to cheer for. I think he left on as good of terms as any multi year Brewer could.

There is no way Adames brings $182 million of value to any club. In that sense, we wish him well.

I hope he strikes out every at bat.

He left us.

He could have stayed, but

chose the unfair MLB route.

Who did we piss off to draw so many lefties this year? We comfortably lead the league in PAs against lefties. 79 wRC+ against them…yuck!

I hope he strikes out every at bat(unless he can hit into a double play), but its just because he's on the other side now.  I'm glad he left because I don't think he was going to be worth the contract he was gonna sign, but hold no ill will for him.

Seems like a case of analytics working against the Crew.

It's not that I dislike Adames....he seems to be a great guy and good on him for securing a generations-changing contract from someone to play baseball past his prime.

I'm just happy it wasn't the Brewers who paid Adames given how the economics in baseball works, and I'm looking forward to the comp pick in this year's draft.  He's just off to one of his typical extended cold streaks where he kills the lineup he's in, but good for the Giants to have been finding other ways to win without expecting Adames to carry them.

Like any job, guys leave the club on good terms or bad terms. Winker is batting .171 and that makes me smile.

Don't have the comp pick it was sent to Boston in the Quinn priester trade

Think it’s mostly just a case of poor luck at this point. You don’t see a lot of rotation tinkering for matchups in April

Incorrect those picks can’t be traded.  The FA compensation picks are after the first round but before the comp A picks.  The Brewers traded their comp A pick which is pick 33.  Pick 32 which is the pick the Brewers received for losing Adames is still held by the Brewers and can’t be traded.
