Contreras looks all screwed up at the plate right now. Yesterday's HR was his frst extra base hit since April 11. He's in danger of going below .230 very soon. With the Brewers' very deficient offense they can't afford this version of Contreras.  It's time for Haase to play more and give Contreras more days off. I think the Durbin experiment has just about run it's course. He too is now south of the Mendoza line with the bat, has absolutely no power,  and certainly not a 3B. Unfortunately there just isn't anything for Murphy to choose from to replace him. Dunn is really stinking it up in Nashville (.192) and Capra was DFA'd.

If Durbin was any good Yankees would have found a spot for him. Outside of Volpe they had nothing. If you're getting nothing just keep the player and take the picks.

The most disappointing thing to me is the performance by Chourio both with the bat and the defense which has been atrocious.

Hudson doesn't have the heat like he had last year. Unless I am missing something. Thought he was throwing gas last year but his fastball doesn't seem to have nearly the same life.

I get being upset in the moment but he's been one of our best offensive players. He botched that play and maybe cost the game tonight but he's hardly the most disappointing aspect of this team, IMO.

He’s clearly more of a utility player long term, but he’s likely our best option at 3B. Give him more major league ABs and I think we’ll see the numbers improve because he doesn’t struggle putting the ball in play
