I don’t really care about firing the hitting coaches. We’ve cycled through so many hitting coaches over the years and nothing really changes. Put a talented roster together with talented hitters and stop relying on coaching and defense and luck getting you to 90 wins every year.

Most of these guys lack talent but Chourio falling apart tells me these hitting coaches are trash.

I get he’s struggling but he looks absolutely miserable and really disinterested

I would agree with you but look what Seitzer and Edgar are doing with a Seattle team that wasn't hitting.

The Brewers will likely be in last place by June 1st.

Be hard to fall behind Pittsburgh but 4th place sounds like a plan.

We've been among the worst teams in baseball over the last decade at drafting and developing hitters.

Frelick and Turang are probably the best that we've done.

I think Mitchell is better than than Frelick, so he must be a part of that statement.  It'd be nice if he'd be healthy while he's young.

I really don’t think Ortiz is as bad as he looks right now.  The poor guy needs to re-set at Nashville but unfortunately there’s no solution right now to allow for that.

The #1 person responsible for the Burnes and Williams trades needs to be ousted.  Fell for the AL East scouting buffs you're supposed to avoid. Keep saying, mlb doesn't favor those under 5-10 if not 6ft.

We need to decide are we punting on the year or are we gonna attempt to salvage this season and make some acquisitions.

They're both different types of hitters.

Mitchell has more power but Frelick is probably a better contact bat.

Arnold is on the spot but I mean if he says I had a deal for say Arrenado to play third and Mark said no then what can he do? It always goes back to the owner.

We couldn’t pay Adames what he got, but it’s hard to quantify just how big his loss was to the team.

He's exactly replacement level so far this season - him in SF now making alot more money is not the reason the rest of the guys on this roster aren't hitting better, too.

First off, I think dropping Chourio to the 6 hole is asinine. What's fueling his atrocious ABs right now isn't going to be fixed by him hitting ahead of Jake Bauers (yes I know he's swinging the bat well right now), or Durbin or whoever. If the discipline doesn't improve it won't matter WHO he hits in front of, but now you've got a 21-yr-old ticked off about being dropped down (as per Murphy) who is going to try his damndest to prove he's 'better than that', & I don't exactly see that mindset resulting in any better ABs any time soon. Bad idea.

I believe the BABIP tonite was over .300. So there's that.

Turang had a 3-hit game with any luck at all. He & Contreras swung it well. That's about it.

Al Laboeuf should be on the hot seat. This is abysmal. Chourio looks worse than he ever did last year and he looked really bad the first two months last season.

After Tuesdays' game I mentioned Donnie Ecker, who was fired as the hitting coach at Texas. But when you have an in-season move like that there's often some kind of connection between the new hiree & someone in the organization, and I don't know of any.

Had they not broken out on Wednesday, I thought maybe we'd have had something happen during the off day.

Feels like we've had the same guys there for a while with the addition of a new one.

The complete lack of patience from Chourio is something I blame on the hitting coaches.

Chourio and Yelich both need a new hitting coach.  Attanasio needs to just sit down and have a talk with Murphy and tell him Al LeBoeuf just isn't solving any of our hitting issues.  In fact we are getting worse every week.  We'll be very lucky to win 80 games this season.

He appeared to be improving earlier in the year and now has regressed and worse.

Two Hitting Coaches absolute garbage one gotta go. But the hitting is abysmal Yeli looks old and like he has no clue. Ortiz is absolutely garbage and really needs to be replaced their so many automatic outs on this team

Ortiez, Chourio, Yelich, Durbin all need a resets, thats 1/2 our lineup.
