I hope management reconsiders sending Patrick to Nashville “because he has three options” … I’d love for him to be one of our piggyback starters OR even a long relief candidate over Alexander OR Anderson - especially with Ashby & Hall taking some left-handed middle innings.

Tyler Alexander doesn’t seem to have a bright future for us. It’s been a few years since he’s been good.

He is our closer when losing by more than 4 runs.

Yes he has to through 25 pitches per inning. Scared to throw strikes.

I get that Freddy is struggling to command, so you don't want to load the bases, I guess. But walking Devers seemed very obvious there. Certainly, you don't throw him strikes. Absolutely certainly you don't try to beat him with a down-the-middle 3-2 fastball.

Peralta is good. I like him. But until he can get through 5 innings without 110 pitches consistently, he's not an ace.

I think something is wrong with his arm or 'stuff" or both.  Every year that goes by the numbers climb.

He's basically averaged 5.1 innings per start every year of his entire career. He is what he is at this point and nothing's going to change that.

I'm hoping hot summer weather will loosen him up more.

5.1 innings is a complete game in Murphy's bullpen management guide

Maybe he patterns his expectations after Peralta. If 5.1 is good enough for our "ace", it should be good enough for everybody.

Peralta could bring a good return. Since this season is a wash (& it will be a non-playoff season) - trade him ASAP & get quality young assets for a strong run in 2027.

No doubt, Peralta has been good this season. Unfortunately, he’s not good today & has failed at a time we needed him to go 6-7 innings to offer our exhausted & overused bullpen a day off before an important series against Philly.

I hope he throws 150 pitches today & gets traded tomorrow. His inconsistency is more frustrating than his talent is encouraging.

I’m ready for a change - especially with all the starting pitchers returning soon.

I would much rather keep Patrick in Milwaukee than Peralta (since this isn’t a playoff team).

I'm not counting the Brewers out of the playoffs yet in May.  Lots and lots of baseball between now and October.

I hope the Brewers wake up tomorrow in first place, but none of these things are happening.
