I feel sorry for Alexander he is washed up. This is the only situation he can pitch in and still can't do it.

Ok this is more appropriate than the comment I wanted to make about Alexander.

I feel bad for him too but honestly I feel worse for the many pitchers in AAA throughout the league who deserve a major league slot so much more than this dude and haven’t made a few million dollars.

Alexander just has the look of a guy who has been very lucky to be in the league as long as he has.

Just in case the place Quintana should take on the roster tomorrow wasn't obvious.

Yeah he has no more use on this roster with all the lefties and length in the pen now

The Milwaukee Brewers' franchise record for most runs scored in a single game is 20 runs, which they achieved on July 8, 1990, against the California Angels.

I remember listening to that game. The Brewers trailed 7-0 in the third inning but rallied to tie it in the fourth. They put the game away with a 13 run fifth.

The 22-2 win over Toronto also included the Brewers record of 31 hits

Our rotation is looking really strong right now. Patrick and Freddy have been strong all year, Preister is coming around with Civale and Q coming back strong (hopefully). Add in Hall looking really sharp and Woody, Henderson, and Misi, Myers there is plenty of upside and innings to be had.

Biggest game I remember watching (on TV) was April 22, 2010 at Pit. Pitcher Manny Parra hit an RBI single in the 9th inning to make the score 20-0.

The Brewers have some financial incentive to cut Alexander loose as well if he’s not up to snuff. With another 4 innings he’ll trigger the first of several incentives based on innings pitched totaling $800,000+. With how often he’s used he could conceivably collect them all (100 IP).
