Man, hamstrings. They are so tricky. Any time something like what has happened to Frelick and Chourio pops up in season you never know if they will truly heal until the next season. We've seen it time and time again with professional athletes. It just is what it is at this point. Let's hope they recover. Let's hope it's precautionary and he just felt a little tickle. Either way, we all know this is not good. Not good at all. IF he indeed misses time, I'm personally in favor of giving OF Jared Oliva a try as the next 'lightning in a bottle' AAAA guy. He is an incredible defender. Fantastic speed everywhere and on the base paths. Sneaky pop. He's 10x the realistic OF candidate on MLB grass that Tyler Black is. Just my personal opinion. They've already DFA'd Cameron and Avans. Oliva is very worthy of a shot. Obviously, they'd have to open a 40-Man spot to do it so they may just stick in house. Not a fan of relying on Black on the OF grass or anywhere, really. 😅 Now, this being said, his brief stint with some actual productive MLB AB's was encouraging. His play since being sent down? Not really.

Arnold reports that Frelick will only be out a couple of days. Pat Murphy comments “It’s worse then originally determined and he might miss a month.”

Well that's interesting. Don't know what to think of that. I guess we'll have to wait until the post-game interviews to get any type of read here.

Sal had a knee injury May 4, 2025 and had a hammy a week ago.  So he is coming back to soon either way now today with a 3rd incident against Washington.

Questions are a burden.   And answers a prison for one's self.

The brewers got good when they learned about the whole hitting a fly ball to the outfield with a guy on third base rule

Once they figured out you could score on that it was over for mlb

How on earth did Easton McGee keep his roster spot after last night’s horrid 9th inning?

Someone has to be the last guy in the bullpen.

This umpire crew has been bad at calling balls and strikes but they have been better at informing the fans what is going on when an explanation is needed.  Most MLB umpires won't even do this because their ego won't let them.  These must be new umpires or they have checked their ego at the door.

MLB umpires are so frustrating every other sports ref's will explain things but nope only a few in MLB will do the same.  So so so frustrating.

2-3 months ago it wasn’t clear if his stuff was going to be good enough to get MLB hitters out and now it would genuinely hurt to see him pitching for any other franchise next year
