Small sample but since being acquired from the Twins back in early July, Wentz has actually pitched quite well.  Brewers knocked him around pretty good back on June 20 when he was still a Twin (4 ER in 1.1 IP).

Very small sample size, also usually gets pulled by the 5th even on a good day.

I would be nice to see Freddy put together a couple quality starts. Woody, Priester, and Mis are gaining as the top 3 for a playoff series.

Yeah honestly as of today, those three you mentioned would be my top 3 in a playoff series.  Probably in that order too.

A little too much recency bias there... Peralta still has a 3.08 ERA on the season and despite a couple bad starts a 3.58 ERA/3.48 FIP since July 1.

Yea, I still think Freddy is getting the ball in game 1 if the Brewers are able to line up their pitching staff.

Agreed.  Murph will ideally go Freddy and then hit a rested bullpen I the sixth.

Yeah, I just don't see Murphy going against the grain with the playoff rotation.

Freddy will get game 1, Woodruff game 2, and Priester game 3.

This is all opinion mind you.

I'm not sure he will want the Miz to start a playoff game just yet, and might just piggyback him with Peralta, knowing full well that 5 inning Freddy will get us 5 innings...

Who knows what the rotation will even look like by then.

I'd be happy with this. I wish one was a lefty so that Miz coming in for two innings had a different look.

Then again, 6' 7" and 102 mph is a little bit different...

It would be cool if we got him set up to be a RH 2017-18 Hader for this October.

Can confirm. The east ATL got a metric butt-ton of rain this morning, but the west and north sides of town were a lot drier. LET'S GOOOOOOOO!

That cubs series is looming and who knows who the hell is going to be available for us.   Collins might be out also?   Chourio won’t be there    Frelick?    Miz?    Miller?   Hopefully no one else gets hurt

just got to get a couple of wins there

I wonder if Collins' likely paternity leave is the reason they didn't IL Frelick.

He might have to play through it until Collins is back for sure.

Frelick probably wants to play through it anyway.

It would be nice if Freddy just put together a couple of quality innings at this point.

The baby's due date is still 10 days away, I believe, but they're "in the window" now.
