I’m dealing with an ugly COVID virus & only checking in on occasion. What happened to Ortiz earlier? Is he injured?anything announced on TV or radio yet?

Hammy running to first. Appeared to be more than a tickle.

Looked like left hamstring pull sprinting down the line.

Collins will get chewed out for that later. Even thouugh he got the big hit.

As he should.  That is truly inexcusable in that situation, or any situation for that matter.

Walking PCA after an 11 pitch AB is a really non-ideal way to start this half inning.

@BCFthinks it’s a great way to start the inning, apparently

Or how about give credit to the other player who fouled off some great pitches and worked the count

Get him out Pat.

I mean, he has to face 3 batters, what are you asking for?
The Happ walk wasn't great, but throwing 4 balls over 11 pitches isn't exactly terrible.

This is what can happen when you’re relying on five different relievers to cover the game. One doesn’t have it and it screws up the whole thing.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Reading into everything. I never said otherwise. It indeed was a great AB by PCA. It just sucks that Uribe had to work so much and now there’s traffic on the bases in a 4-1 game.  Thus, non-ideal start to the inning. Not everything is intended to be a slight to the Brewers.
