Ueckers last game was a blown save and the day they honor him is another blown save.  Super cool…..

Just a big pile of garbage right now.    Finish that game off.   Jesus

Call up a damn prospect who can hit.   They don’t need to play everyday but quit running Bauers and siegler out there in the 9th when you need a run

There's nobody to call up in AAA

It’s wild to me that some think the division is won. Given the schedules, it might be down to 3 before September even arrives.

With the remaining schedules this can go south really quick.   They got every break imaginable during the streak and it’s evening out now.    They’re in trouble

Bauers is definitely a wasted roster spot

Yes, it can go south really quick, just as it did with the Cubs. We need to get healthy and get better work from the pen.

I don't think I can handle the month long turmoil of the season being declared over every 3 days as we oscillate between 4 and 7 games up in the standings.

When are they going to be up 7 again.    I’d be happy with that.

Oh, I think the Cubs will get a lot closer than that pretty soon.

The last week since the 14 game win streak ended and the way the Cubs are playing and with the schedule discrepancy between the Cubs/Brewers has got me real nervous.

I don't think Murphy is giving us the best chance by playing Seigler so much, either.

P.S.  The home plate ump was a chump in the 9th!

What in the world is Durbin thinking? I can see if you pull me for Devers or somebody. You are pulling me for a worse offensive player. You can't tell me Durbin wasn't siked to try and play hero. Then the manager says sit down son. Watch my gut instincts.

Murphy can't help himself, he just can't.

Not every late matchup needs to be L/R. Stick with the guy with gap power and take a shot. Between that and his refusal to use Perkins for a late defensive replacement in CF, Murph didn’t have a good day.

Another loss we can chalk up to Murph

Funny how baseball evens out. Brewers were getting non stop “lucky” wins and now it’s reversing

Giants are luck merchants! Giants @ Brewers 08/24/2025 Final Score: Giants 4 - 3 Brewers Deserve-to-Win: Giants 7% - 86% Brewers (Tie 7%)

True. That roster is trash. If Chourio can walk he needs to be back. Let someone run for him.

Tough right-handed side-armer, BUT I think I agree with you.

Nobody wants to hear that it's fine, but it's fine. If we're up 10 games in two weeks, people will be terrified that we're coasting.

The Cubs are good. They might get really hot and pass us. We might play poorly.

Honestly, winning two of three, while facing Ray and Webb during this stretch, would've been a HUGE success. We've got four more favorable pitching matchups against the DBacks. We're going to win between 94 and 104 games (probably closer to the upper end), and the rest is just how well our competition plays.

That one belongs to Megill.    He freaking sucks right now

His fastball is fast, yes.  But it has absolutely no movement.  Straight as a string.

I really don’t think that’s going to happen. I’d be happy if it did. I think you’re underestimating how quickly 5-6 games can be erased if the Cubs get on a hot streak.

For perspective, we trailed by 5.5 in 2018 entering September and caught the Cubs, who didn’t even play particularly bad.

5 games isn’t a lot. It went from 9 to 5 in a week.

So is Seigler! Both terrible.

I can maybe see Seigler with Ortiz out but outside of that no way. Bauers just infuriates me. I know one of our announcers said recently he was having a down season. What do you mean? .669 OPS this year, .662 last year, .663 for his career. The most baseball card don't lie guy in history. He just isn't any good. PERIOD.
