Gutsy effort. Nobody getting any style points out there, but we can still get a win. I’d take it.

I'm going to give Mona a few style points for that play.

Someone in the heart of the Brewer lineup needs to step up and walk this thing off in this inning.

The last thing this pitching staff can afford right now is a 12 inning marathon.

That wont be an issue once they get a few off days in the schedule

They don’t get a few off days for quite awhile.

They get one after the Labor Day game with the Phillies, then play 8 straight days. So, from here they play 14 of the next 15 days.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

That throw was effective, but nobody is going to put that on a teaching tape. He did what he had to do and it worked, nothing more.

Nobody is getting a few days off except for the 1 and 2 seeds. Everyone has to stop acting like the Brewers are the first team in world history that has to tax their pitchers in September. It's all part of the grind and being the last one standing.
