Hoskins has been a non factor all season, so I'm not upset about that.

I might have had Anderson instead of Gasser but really no qualms either way. This is how I would have done the pitching so happy to see it. Slightly surprised that it's Lockridge instead of Hopkins but that's fine.

FWIW If Woody gets healthy enough to pitch my first off would be Patrick.

I don't see how Anderson makes it over Myers. Gasser was kind of a shock over DL Hall. Hoskins I'm sure is insulted and has every right to be.

I think it was Myers or Patrick and Gasser or Anderson, personally.

Patrick and Gasser aren’t in as starters. But they can both give a quality couple innings. Our bullpen is legit.

The only way the 12th pitcher will be used/needed is if there is a long extra inning game (no runner on 2nd)--in which case it will be very nice to have.

Gasser over Myers isn't the question I don't think. We needed a 3rd lefty in the pen with the Cubs lefties. So Gasser was in consideration over Hall and Z?

Miz/Patrick/Anderson over Myers would be the question.

Hall either can't be healthy or just isn't prime after the injury.  I would have liked to see Myers; playoff experience matters and Myers was excellent in his start last year.  Anderson seems to wilt under pressure.

I would have gone Myers and Hall over Mis and Anderson but I really like the inclusion of Lockridge.

Hoskins can play one position and is our third best option. He has no business being on the roster unless Bauers or Vaughn bottom out

I’m sure Hoskins is unhappy. You expect that from a competitor. But I’d be unhappy if Murphy was putting veteran respect over optimizing the roster.
